South Dakota State head men’s basketball coach Eric Henderson has stepped down as head coach of the Jackrabbits men’s basketball program, to accept the head men’s basketball job at Drake University. Henderson led the Jacks to two NCAA tournament appearances in four seasons and also won the Summit League four out of six years as the program’s head coach. Replacing Henderson will be his assistant Bryan Peterson who was promoted from assistant to head coach. Peterson becomes the 23rd head coach in SDSU men’s basketball history.
