Secretary of State Monae Johnson subpoenaed by GOAC to address electronic poll book software provider

South Dakota Secretary of State Monae Johnson has been subpoenaed to testify before the Government Operations and Audit Committee or GOAC. The committee voted unanimously to issue the subpoena over what it describes as a controversial contract the Secretary of State’s office entered into with a electronic poll book software provider called KNOWiNK LLC. The committee says Johnson has failed several times to report to the committee regarding t he contract. The date and time Johnson will testify before the committee has yet to be determined.
