Sioux Falls police officer hospitalized after being shot in the line of duty

(Kelo.com – Sioux Falls, SD) A Sioux Falls Police Officer is hospitalized in serious but stable condition after being shot while in the line of duty yesterday.

Officers responded to a weapons violation at a business near 12th and Lyons just before two and were contacted by two people when one of them fired a shot that hit the officer.

The suspects were arrested near 49th and Marion Road a short time later.
