The Aberdeen Development Corporation has announced the fast food restuarnt chain “Slim Chickens” will be coming to Aberdeen in the coming months. According to Development Corp CEO Tim Hanigan, the Development Corp. attempted to attract a chicken based franchise to Aberdeen after a survey conducted showed a desire from the community for such a restaurant. Slim Chickens has franchise locations in 30 states including three in South Dakota, all of which are in Sioux Falls and other locations in Williston, Fargo and Minot. The building will go along six avenue next to Dairy Queen at a location which used to be an auto shop.
