The Spink county sheriff’s office has responded to multiple reports of gasoline being siphoned from vehicles. According to law enforcement, drivers should remain vigilant and park in well lit areas when possible. The Sheriff’s Department is also encouraging motorists to consider using a locking fuel cap during this time. These reports come just weeks after the Kingsbury County Sheriff’s Department sent out a similar warning about potential gas and diesel thieves trying to steal energy as prices remain high.
