Team USA women’s hockey wins gold medal in 2-1 victory in OT over Canada

Team USA women’s hockey defeated Canada yesterday afternoon to win the Olympic women’s hockey gold medal. The final was 2-1 in overtime. Scoring for the United States was Hillary Knight and Megan Keller with the game winner in overtime. With that goal Keller becomes the top scorer, for both men and women, in olympic play with 15 career goals and 33 career points. This was team USA women’s hockey’s third gold medal and first since the 2018 games in Pyeongchang South Korea.
