Two 22-year-olds killed in accident near Hill City

Two 22-year-olds were killed in a single vehicle accident 10 miles north of Hill City Saturday. According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred around 10:12 p.m. When the driver of an 03 Toyota 4Runner was southbound on US 385 near mile marker 92. the vehicle went off the road to the right and rolled several times, coming to rest in the ditch. A 22-year-old Sturigs woman and 22-year-old man from Deadwood were ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. They were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident and it is unknown who was driving.
