Two high ranking Northern officials announces plans to retire in the near future

Northern State University has announced two more key positions are resigning in the coming months. Vice President for Finance and Administration Veronica Paulson and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Michael Wanous have both announced their retirements. Paulson has been at Norther since 1990 and her retirement will take effect June 2026. Wanous has been at Northern since 2019 and will retire in December. The University is currently searching for its next President after the last President Neil Schnoor took the chancelor position at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
