US Rep. Dusty Johnson becomes first candidate to officially qualify for the ballot for governor

South Dakota congressman and GOP gubernatorial candidate Dusty has announced through his campaign he has officially qualified for the ballot. Republican candidates are required to received 2,171 valid signatures to appear on the ballot. South Dakota Secretary of State Monae Johnson has announced through a random sample, her office has found 4,181 valid signatures. The deadline to file is Monday March 23rd at 5:00 p.m. The GOP primary election will be held June 2nd of this year.
