USPS “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive to take place Saturday

On Saturday the annual letter carrier’s “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive will take place in and around Aberdeen put on by the United States Postal Service.

Letter carriers have already given out blue bags to residents in and around Aberdeen, who are now encouraged to fill those bags with non perishable food items and hygiene products.

The United Way of Northeast South Dakota partners with the USPS for this food drive. Angie Cleber with the United Way says the goal is to collect as much food as possible because the demand on food pantries has increased in recent years…
