The Minnesota Vikings and head coach Kevin O’Connell have agreed to a new multi-year contract extension. The exact terms of the contract were not immediately released. O’Connell is 39-years-old and currently has a record of 34-17 along with two playoff appearance since taking over as head coach of the Vikings. This past season he accumulated a regular season record of 14-3, the second most wins in franchise history.
