The Minnesota Vikings have exercised the fifth year team option of wide receiver Jordan Addison. The fifth year option is the team’s opportunity to extend rookie contracts of first round picks, which will keep Addison in Minnesota through 2027. Addison was the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft and has recorded 175 receptions for 2,396 yards and 22 touchdowns. He has also had legal troubles since coming to Minnesota in 2023 including a January 2026 arrest for misdemeanor trespassing in Florida, though those charges were dropped. He was also arrested for DUI near LAX, which he pleaded guilty to a wet reckless charge and in 2023 he as cited for driving 140 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone.
