Beginning at approximately 8am Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the water will be off and the road will be closed in the following area for water main valve repair:
Road Closed: 2nd Ave. SW from S. 2nd St. to S. 3rd St.
Water Off: 2nd Ave. SW from S. 2nd St. to S. 3rd St.
And
S. 3rd St. from 1st Ave. SW to 2nd Ave. SW
The water will be off and the road will be closed until approximately 5pm or until finished. The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.
