Water to be shut off in parts of Aberdeen Monday for fire hydrant replacement

Beginning at approximately 8am Monday, September 21, 2026, the water will be off and the road will be closed in the following area for fire hydrant replacement:

Road Closed: 1^st Ave. SW from S. 2^nd St. to S. 3^rd St.

Water Off: 1^st Ave. SW from S. 2^nd St. to S. 4^th St.

And

S. 4^th St. from 3^rd Ave. SW to 1^st Ave. SW

The water will be off and the road will be closed until approximately 3pm or until finished.  The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.
