A Watertown man has been found guilty of aggravated sexual abuse by force and sexual abuse of a minor. According to the US Attorney for South Dakota, a jury found 29-year-old Gokoh Brown guilty of sexually assaulting a 12 to 13 year old girl in 2023 while living in the Red Iron Housing on the Lake Traverse Reservation. He was indicted by a federal grand jury in August of 2024. The conviction comes after a two day jury trial at the federal court house in Aberdeen. He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $250,000 fine upon sentencing.
