Webster native Brock Lesnar announces retirement from WWE following SummerSlam pay-per-view

Webster native Brock Lesnar has announced he is retiring from professional wrestling and combat sports entirely. Lesnar made the announcement on the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN Tuesday. The 49-year-old South Dakota native made what could be his final appearance with the WWE at its annual SummerSlam pay-per-view Saturday. Throughout his career Lesnar as a two-time All-American, two time Big Ten champion, and a NCAA National Champion in wrestling before first joining WWE and then ultimate fighting.
