Wings goaltender Damon Cunningham signs college hockey deal at University of Regina

The Aberdeen Wings have announced goaltender Damon Cunningham has committed to play college hockey for the University of Regina U Sports program. Cunningham is is a 6’0 175lbs goaltender from Sturgeon Alberta Canada who joined the wings at the start of the 2024-25 season. He appeared in 39 regular season games tallying 21 wins, 17 losses and two shutouts. He had a .914 save percentage during that season. He was also selected to the 2025 NAHL Top prospect tournament and played one game.
