Aberdeen Central high school principal Dr. Jason Uttermark has been named the South Dakota Principal of the year. He was named principal of the year by the South Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals. The SDASSP presents the award annually to the principal who demonstrates exceptional leadership, a commitment to student achievement and a lasting impact on their school community. Dr. Uttermark has 21 years of service with the Aberdeen Public School District.
