The Aberdeen City Council at its regular meeting Tuesday approved $250,000 in contributions to the Dacotah Prairie Museum expansion project. The money will come out of the city’s promotional fund.

The goal of the expansion is to create a main street entrance, new interactive children’s spaces, a larger, more-accessible gift shop and more space for traveling exhibits.
