The Aberdeen City Council discussed the Summit Carbon Solution’s proposed pipeline project Tuesday at its regular meeting and discussed if the city as an entity wanted to become more involved in the Public Utilities Commission’s process of approving or denying the project.
Aberdeen city attorney Ron Wager explained the difference between Party Status and Intervention status. Party Status would mean the city goes before the PUC with concerns or material it thinks is pertinent to the permits being requested.
