Aberdeen Downtown Association Director Alexa Sheldon has announced she will not be renewing her contract in 2026. In a letter about her decision, Sheldon says the timing of this decision has been thoughtfully planned with a natural break in downtown events so she can help train in her successor. Sheldon has been in the position for three years and said she is proud of the work she and the downtown association has done during that time.
