The Aberdeen Family YMCA has announced a capital campaign to raise millions of dollars for an indoor playland. In a video released to the Y’s Facebook page the proposal would add a 3,250 square foot addition to the Y, with half the build being a remodel, the other half an expansion. The proposal would offer a large indoor play structure for older children, a soft smaller play area for younger children and a lounge for parents. The Y has announced a goal of $2.2 million in order to make this happen. Chairs for the capital campaign are Jerry and Darcie Tveidt.
