An Aberdeen home suffered damage by a fire Tuesday evening. According to a release from Aberdeen Fire and Rescue, first responders were on the scene of a structure fire in the 300 block of Park Avenue Southeast at approximately 6:48 p.m. Upon arrival crews found smoke coming from the home’s roof vents. The fire was located in the kitchen and was quickly extinguished. The home suffered fire damage in the kitchen and smoke damage throughout the house but there were no injures reported and pets were safely removed.
