Deadwood spots betting has topped $41 million since the legislature legalized the activity five years ago. According to numbers released by the Deadwood Gaming Association, sports wagering in the historic South Dakota city has continued to increase year after year with 2025 bringing in 17 percent more participation than previous years. The Association did not apps such as Polymarket and Kalshi have cut into gambling numbers as they allow for adults as young as 18 to place wagers on their phone and do so outside established gaming regulations.
