Aberdeen first reponders provide update regarding house fire that killed two people

Aberdeen Fire and Rescue has provided an update regarding an apartment fire that left two people dead on December 23^rd. According to the update, autopsies have been performed on the two victims. The results of the autopsy were not released and authorities are trying to confirm the identity of those deceased. DNA testing is also being done to help in that process. However, first responders say they believe they know the identity of the victims, but are waiting for confirmation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but fire and rescue says there is no threat to the public at this time.
