An Aberdeen man is facing multiple charges after a single-vehicle accident on the northeast side of town Wednesday May 13th. According to a release from the Aberdeen Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 6:07 pm. In the 300 block of North Melgaard Street and County Road 19 near 3M. 57-year-old William Connor was northbound in the 100 block when he left his lane and struck a median sign on the west side of the street. Police say he corrected back, jumpe4d the curb on the other side, entered the opposite lane of travel, ultimately hitting a utility pole. The driver received minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He faces felony DUI, his third offense, reckless driving, driving without insurance, driver’s license or registration.
