Aberdeen Police asking residents not to catch stray cats

The Aberdeen Police Departmetn is asking residents to not trap stray cats. According to a post from the Police Department’s facebook page, those trapping stray cats hoping to turn them over to the Humane Society will find the Humane Society is at capacity and currently does not have the space or resources to accept additional cats. For the time being, residents with concerns about stray, injured or potentially dangerous animals should contact the Aberdeen Police Department.
