Republican Spencer Sommers was one of two people who won seats in the state House of Representatives during Tuesday night’s midterm election.
Sommers is a first time candidate who got the most votes out of all three candidates 4,354 or 37 percent. Behind him was Tim Hanigan, who won the other seat at 3,772 votes or 32 percent and missing out on a seat was Democrat Erin Ronayne Rudner with 3,629 or 31 percent of the vote.
