Aberdeen resident Nicolle Schutter announces candidacy for Aberdeen City Council

Aberdeen resident Nicolle Schutter has announced her candidacy for the Aberdeen City Council, seeking to represent the Southwest District. In a press release about her campaign, Schutter announced she had successfully filed her nominating petition to appear on the June election ballot. Schutter describes herself as a 15 year Aberdeen resident who wants to focus on four areas if elected including Supporting every generation, infrastructure development, workforce development and fiscal responsibility and transparency. She currently serves as the Teacher Education department Chair in the Millicent Atkins School of Education at Northern State. She is the second person to announce her candidacy to represent the Southwest District.
