Aberdeen resident Talmage Ekanger has announced his campaign for the Aberdeen City council, seeking to represent the Southwest District. In a press release about his campaign, Ekanger announced he filed his nominating petition with enough signatures to get on the June ballot this past Friday. Ekanger is an Aberdeen native who has lived in the Southwest District for 16 years. In his release, Ekanger says he has four areas he wants to focus on as a council member including financial trust, infrastructure, development and growth and quality of life.
