An Aberdeen woman has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for allegedly providing fentanyl-laced pills that led to another person’s death in 2023. According to the Aberdeen Insider 27-year-old Laycie Williams was sentenced Monday to 10 years for the drug related charges, and another four on top of that for failing to appear at her 2025 sentencing hearing. According to court documents, Williams was partying with other women in Aberdeen in February of 2023. She provided percocet to the other women, which she obtained from a Mandan North Dakota man. The pills were laced with fentanyl, killing one woman and causing the other to get sick.
