South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is celebrating a large fundraising hall the first quarter of his campaign for South Dakota’s lone seat in the US House of Representatives. According to a release from the Jackley campaign for congress, the campaign raised $525,760 with $503,279 cash on hand. The campaign claims that is 155 percent more than any other candidate in South Dakota for the first fundraising quarter. Jackley’s campaign also says over 95 percent of the contributions came from individual South Dakotans. Jackley is running against state senator Casey Crabtree of Madison for the GOP nomination. They will square off against either Nikki Gronli or Billy Mahiney who are both vying for the Democratic nomination.
