APD responds to domestic assault incident Tuesday

The Aberdeen police Department reports one man is in custody regarding multiple felony charges. According to the Aberdeen PD, a domestic incident was reported at an Aberdeen home in the evening hours of November 18^th. Upon arrival, officers met a 32-year-old female with what was described as serious injuries. The victim herself described the alleged assault as “brutal”. She was ultimately transported to an Aberdeen hospital. A 32-year-old male suspect had already fled the scene when law enforcement arrived. He was located in Platte Nebraska where he was taken into custody. The identity of the suspect was not released but he faces charges including felony burglary, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and domestic violence.
