Bird Flu has been confirmed in South Dakota once again with federal officials detecting the virus in two flocks this month after nearly a month without a US case. The highly contagious virus struck a flock of 74,900 commercial meat turkeys in Beadle County on August 12th and a backyard flock of 2,8000 birds in Brule County on Thursday August 20th.
