Brown County Commission sends property tax relief ordinance to November 3rd ballot

The Brown County Commission has passed an ordinance regarding property tax relief which will go before the voters on November 3rds general election.  The ordinance, if approved by voters would impose a half-cent sales tax increase with the revenue going to help reduce property taxes on single-family, owner-occupied dwellings in Brown County.  Brown County Commissioner Drew Dennert spoke about the measure, but did not speak in favor of it…
