The City of Aberdeen has announced, it has been named a 2025 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. The city received this honor for its commitment to plant, grow and maintain trees that benefit the community.
“Trees within Aberdeen help shade our streets and homes, increase property values and increase beautification and livability efforts”, said Aaron Kiesz Aberdeen City Forester.
The Tree City USA program is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the National Association of State Foresters and the USDA Forest Service.
