Conservation officers in northeast South Dakota caught anglers on Roy Lake catching over twice the legal daily limit of bluegill fish. According to South Dakota Turn In Poaches or TIPs, law enforcement received a tip on May 25th regarding two individuals catching too many bluegill fish on Roy Lake. Roy Lake is located in northeast South Dakota in Roberts county. In all 62 bluegill were seized as evidence. South Dakota law allows a daily limit of 15 bluegill and other sunfish. The possession limit is 30 fish regarding multiple species.
