Democrat US Senate candidate Julian Beaudion has announced he is suspending his campaign for US Senate. Beaudion made the announcement he is dropping out via his social media Tuesday. In the post Beaudion cited his family had recently been experiencing challenges including a house fire. Many political observers in South Dakota had encouraged Beaudion to drop out of the race and allow Independent candidate Brian Bengs to take on US Senator Mike Rounds one on one, giving him a better shot at beating the incumbent. Since launching his campaign Beaudion has struggled to garner attention and fundraise.
