(Gowatertown.net) The Deubrook School District has sent a letter to parents after threats were made Wednesday involving a student.
The letter from Principal Brad DeBeer and Superintendent Skyler Frederick reads, ” We want to make you’re aware of an isolated incident that occurred involving a student who made threatening comments toward another student. The situation was taken seriously, and appropriate law enforcement and school safety protocols were immediately followed.
We want to reassure our families that our students and staff are safe, and there is no ongoing threat to our school or students.”
They called in, “an isolated incident,” and that law enforcement and school administration reacted appropriately.
School administrators said, “Out of respect for student privacy and confidentiality, we will not be releasing additional information about the incident.”
