District 3 State House candidate Tim Hanigan, along with Spencer Sommers were the victors Tuesday night during the South Dakota primary election.
Hanigan got 29 percent of the vote, defeating longtime northeast South Dakota lawmaker Al Novstrop and former state lawmaker Kaleb Weis.
