Road closures, water off as well in parts of Aberdeen Thursday

Beginning at approximately 1pm Thursday, June 4th, 2026, the following stretch of road will be closed to thru traffic for railroad crossing repair:

9^th Ave. SW from S. 5^th St. going east 130 feet

The road will be closed until approximately 1pm Friday, June 5^th, or until finished.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.

Beginning at approximately 9am Thursday, June 4th, 2026, the following intersection will be closed to thru traffic for storm sewer work:

10^th Ave. SE & S. High St.

The intersection is scheduled to be closed until 5pm or until finished.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed

Beginning at approximately 1pm Thursday, June 4th, 2026, the water will be off in the following area for utility work:

28^th Ave. NE to 34^th Ave. NE

From

N. Dakota St. to Northview Lane

The water will be off until approximately 5pm or until finished.  The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.
