DOC warning about high risk offender being released in the Huron area

The South Dakota Department of Corrections is warning the public about a high risk offender being released from prison in the Huron area. According to the Department 43-year-old Moises Aguilar-Hernandez has served his entire prison sentence and is set to be released Thursday. He is currently being held in the state penitentiary in Sioux Falls. Aguilar-Hernandez was serving a sentence for sexual contact with a child under the age of 16. He is considered high risk to re-offend due to his criminal history involving sex offenses and institutional assessments.
