The Dacotah Prairie Museum is scheduled to be closed November 10th through the 22nd for finishing work on the new Dean L. and Rosemary Buntrock Gallary. Museum director Patricia Kendall made the announcement at the Brown County Commission meeting Tuesday. Dean Buntrock is a Columbia native and founder of Waste Management and has been a benefactor for various projects. His animal collection will be featured as one of the exhibits in the new gallery. Those who need access to the museum, for Christmas Tree decoration for instance will still be allowed in during the two week closure.
