Former Sioux Falls teacher sentenced to 24 years in prison on child pornography charges

A former Sioux Falls middle school teacher has been sentenced to 24-years in federal prison on child pornography charges. 28-year-old Justin Preuschl accepted a plea deal in July in exchange for the prosecution dropping dozens of other charges. Preuschl admitted to using social media to communicate with girls in their early teens and convinced them to send sexually explicit material. Prosecutors say he had multiple victims including one of his own students. Preuschl had taught at Whittier Middle School, prior to that he served as a substitute teacher in both Sioux Falls and Brandon.
