The State of South Dakota has been approved for more than $750,000 from FEMa for recent natural disasters across the state. According to FEMA, $347,000 will go towards Rapid City for debris removal following straight-line wind damage, $287,000 will go to Gregory County to repair road surfaces damaged by winter storms and flooding and more than $124,000 will go towards the state Game Fish and Parks department to repair outlet structures and parts of eastern dams impacted by storms, tornadoes and flooding.
