Aberdeen Fire and Rescue responded to a garage fire Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of South Washington Street and Seventh Avenue Southeast. According to Fire and Rescue, firefighters responded at approximately 1:37 p.m. Upon arrival crews found a detached garage fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire, one vehicle inside the garage was declared a total loss and a nearby vehicle and adjacent garage sustained damage. No one was injured and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
