Beginning at approximately 9:00am Thursday, July 10th, 2025, the Aberdeen Fire Department will begin flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:
4th Ave. SE to Melgaard Road
Between
S. Grant St. & S. Dakota St.
The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty. The project will continue until all hydrants in this area have been tested. Any questions or concerns can be reported to the Public Works Department at 605-626-7010.
