(KWAT – Waterotwn, SD) South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley confirms 36 year-old Bowen Jay Fladland has been charged with the death of his mother in Clark.
Jackley tells KWAT News Director Mike Tanner that the victim was decapitated.
South Dakota DCI was alerted to the crime Tuesday, and responded to 601 North Cloud Street in Clark.
Codington County Sheriff Brad Howell tells Tanner that Fladland was booked into the detention center in Watertown at 10:33 p.m. Tuesday on charges of First and Second Degree Murder.
