Former Minnesota Timberwolves head coach and Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Rick Adelman has passed away. He was 79 years old. His cause of death was not immedately released. Adelman won 1,042 games in his NBA coaching career, putting him 10th most in league history. Most of his wins came with the Portland Trailblazers, but he also coached Sacramento, Houston and Golden State. Adelman also played seven NBA seasons for five different teams.
