Former Minnesota Wild defenseman Marco Scandella has announced his retirement from the NHL after a 14-year career. Scandella was a second round draft pick by Minnesota in 2008. He made his NHL debut at Florida on November 12th 2010. The Montreal Quebec native played his first seven NHL seasons with the Wild. He also played for the Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres and St. Louis Blues.
